Plein Air painting

At long last the grey skies have lifted and it's time for outdoor Plein Air painting again! Here are a couple that I have done at home in Oregon. I hope the weather holds and I can log in many more hours painting under the sun.

Razor Clams anyone?

Painting this was so much fun after a great day of digging for razor clams with good buddies in Gearhart, Oregon. This painting just won the honor of Judges Top 15% Favorite of all the entries for Jan 2010 Fine Art View Painting Competition. Wow! It just flew out of the brush!

Met my canine friend here in Bend while riding in a side car... him not me. Of course I couldn't resist and had to paint him!
